Ginny
THIS IS MY STORY
Ginny Pauw (1992), born in The Netherlands, is a professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. At a young age she started taking dance lessons and very soon she was determined to turn her hobby and passion into her profession. To develop herself as a dancer, she started training street dance, show dance and hiphop styles and later expanded this with the styles poppin, dancehall and commercial/jazz funk. Even to this day, Ginny follows many classes and workshops both in The Netherlands and abroad, in order to be able to deliver the highest possible quality for every job.
In recent years she has danced in several television programs and productions in The Netherlands, Germany and the rest of Europe, such as Dance Dance Dance, MTV EMA’s, The Voice of Holland, Idols, German Idol, Ladies of Soul, Vrienden van Amstel Live, Let’s Dance, De Gouden Televizier-Ring, DanceSing, Eurovision Song Contest in Concert, Toppers in Concert, Caribbean Combo, The Olympics and World of Dance. She shared the stage with a number of great international artists, such as Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, Jack & Jack, Hadise, Ylvis, Madcon, GoldLink and a lot of Dutch artists like Eva Simons, Maan, Emma Heesters, Sharon Doorson, Don Diablo, Ayden, Fedde le Grand and many more.
Ginny also worked as a dancer and model for brands like Nike, Asics, Coolcat, Reinders & Nikkie Plessen.
In recent years, Ginny has also gained a lot of experience as a choreographer and assistant choreographer. For instance with big productions such as Vrienden van Amstel Live, So You Think You Can Dance and Let’s Dance, where she had the opportunity to assist Timor Steffens in choreographing the show. She also assisted Jaquel Knight, the choreographer of Beyonce and Christina Aguilera during Dance Dance Dance season one. In The Netherlands she has worked for several artists, like Emma Heesters, Shary-An, Buddy Vedder, Hadewych Minis and Elize to create liveshows, videoclips and/or theatershows.
In addition to being a performing dancer, Ginny also teaches dance and gives lessons and workshops. Besides that, she is founder of the Charity Workshops, where she raises money for different charities, and the Original Workshops, in which she guides and prepares the new Dutch generation of dancers for their career as a professional dancer.
